Terms of Service

ShootingBid provides an online marketplace that connects buyers and sellers of firearms, ammunition, and related goods. We are not a party to transactions between users.

• Eligibility. You must be at least 18 years old (21 for handguns where required) and legally permitted to buy or sell the items you transact in.
• Legal compliance. You are solely responsible for complying with all federal, state, and local laws, including the use of licensed FFL dealers for firearm transfers.
• Accurate listings. Sellers must describe items honestly and accurately, and have the legal right to sell them.
• Bids are binding. Placing a bid or using Buy It Now is a commitment to purchase if you win. Non-payment may result in account suspension.
• Prohibited items. You may not list anything illegal to sell or transfer under applicable law.
• Account security. You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your password secure.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. ShootingBid is provided "as is" without warranties, and our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.

Privacy Policy

We respect your privacy and only collect the information needed to operate the marketplace.

• Information we collect. Account details (name, email, username), listings, bids, messages, and basic usage data.
• How we use it. To run auctions, connect buyers and sellers, send notifications, prevent fraud, and improve the service.
• Sharing. We share only what's necessary to complete a transaction (for example, a username with the other party). We do not sell your personal information.
• Security. Passwords are stored hashed, and we take reasonable measures to protect your data.
• Your choices. You can update your account information or request deletion of your account at any time.
